Overview
Shen Zhiyu and Li Yuchuan were high school sweethearts. Before graduation, Li Yichuan was mercilessly dumped by Shen Zhiyu. Years later, Shen Zhiyu and Li Yuchuan meet at a bar and spend the night together. Li Yuchuan, now the CEO of Li Corporation, still holds a grudge for what happened back then, and insists that Shen Zhiyu must have approached him with malicious intentions. In order to figure out her true motive, Li Yuchuan elopes with Shen Zhiyu and lies to her about his identity. He tells her that his family is in bad financial situation and his fiancé refuses to marry him. Li Yuchuan gets one thing right—Shen Zhiyu does have a special reason for coming back to her hometown, which is to find her long-lost family.
